How do I create my profile online?

Creating a profile on TrueRishte.com is free. Go to home page on www.truerishte.com and select the option Login/Register on right top. Fill the REGISTRATION FORM completely in all manner. Once you complete the registration form the profile is screened and made available to be viewed by other members within 24 hrs.

What If I don’t want to share my contact number?

Mentioning the number is mandatory. Sharing your contact details is completely in your hands, no other user/member can view your contact details without your permission.

Do I have to fill the entire registration form?

Yes it is necessary to fill the registration form completely. Various search options are generated through your registration form like search by Physical Appearance, Family Status, Income, Caste, Location etc. No one knows who is searching for what? So, it is in your favour to fill the registration form complete and that will help you to get in all relevant search options.

Are there any specific DO's and DON’T's while creating a matrimonial profile?

DO’s: star with a simple rule – “Be Honest”. Fill all your details accurately. Just the way you would shortlist other profile basis the criteria that they have filled. They would be doing the same. Also it is advisable to add as much details as possible in the profile to facilitate your search process.

DON’T: write any content that is vulgar, pornographic or racist. Also please don’t put your contact details in the “About Me” section. Lastly please ensure you put a valid email id and phone number as that’s the only way other members will contact you. 

How do I log in once I have registered with TrueRishte.com?

To login to the profile go to www.truerishte.com. There is an option for existing user to login. Enter your registered e-mail id or the profile id provided by TrueRishte.com and the password and you will login to your profile. Alternatively you can just click on any of the emails you receive from TrueRishte.com and you will get logged in to the homepage of our site.

How do I change / edit my profile?

The profile post creation can be edited by going to My True Rishte link. Once you login, go to My True Rishte link and click on the profile links given on left panel. Here you can change/edit your profile and then update the same. However any changes are again screened and are visible within 24 hrs. 

Can I change all the information on my profile?

Except certain basic details like Date of Birth, Marital Status, Gender and Email all the rest of the information can be changed.

How do I delete my profile?

We hope that you want to delete your profile because you have found your soul-mate. If you are angry with us because you had a bad experience with a member, then let us know. In case you are annoyed because we call you/email/sms to you very often, then you can switch of these services from the My True Rishte. To delete your profile log in to www.truerishte.com, go to My True Rishte, Check the links given on left panel, Go to Delete profile option and here you can delete your profile. In case you have found your partner through truerishte.com, we will be happy if you share your success story with us. You will also receive a surprise gift from us if you got engaged/married through us. 

Are there any special options for my matrimonial profile display?

Definitely there is. There are especially two Add On features which we are providing to our users/members and also online chat for True Value members. For details please see membership plans.

How can I opt for a customized Profile id?

There is no option to opt for a personalized Profile Id. Profile id is system generated and is assigned automatically. Once generated it cannot be changed. 

How do I get my profile back on site after I have deleted it?

Once a profile is deleted cannot be recovered, you may have to register again.

Can 2 profiles be registered with the same e-mail id?

E-mail id is utilized as an alternate login id and hence is unique for each profile. Once a e-mail id is updated on the website then it gets recorded in our database and cannot be used again.

Can 2 profiles be registered with the same number?

Mobile numbers are also unique for each profile. However as an exception profiles of different people from the same family can be created using the same contact number.
